Aquinas Wines

Aquinas wines were born from our conviction that good wine, one of life’s simple pleasures, should be easily accessible to all. Aquinas wines are named in tribute to St. Thomas Aquinas, a revolutionary philosopher of the 13th century who used scientific methods to try to prove the existence of a “higher being.” Just as St. Thomas sought to question the assumptions of his world, we seek to challenge the assumptions of ours.

In championing our philosophy that wine should be easily accessible, we didn’t take the easy route. We headed straight for the esteemed appellations of the North Coast – Napa, Sonoma, and Mendocino counties – where we began crafting luxurious wines that would be priced within reach of most wine drinkers. This cooler climate region gives our wines depth, structure, and juicy, fruit flavors that are complemented by complex savory notes. The final result is a complex wine with depth of flavor, lush round tannins, and good structure throughout.

The vineyards we source from include Pauli Ranch and Oak Meadows Vineyard.
